comes from the heart .....I have done this with help from a couple
of friends who believe like me, there is a need for this service ....
The Gathering Place started out as a small news service reaching
a couple of hundred people ........ now we reach thousands of readers.
First Nations news is spreading around the world. At the same time
the work load has increased 1000 times since the beginning.
You will notice that we carry no advertismentswe are clutter free
and that is the way we would like to keep it.
I receive wonderful letters saying what a good job Gathering Place
is doing, keep up the great work and how valuable not only the Gathering
Place news site, but how important the News Alerts are and how much
there is a need for the First nations Headline subscription service
is needed. No one else offers what we do.
We could use your help finically to meet our expenses. The growth
of The Gathering Place has necessitated upgrading to a paid server,
paying for newsletter distribution. We desperately need to hire
staff to increase our ability to provide the most up to date critical
information that our readers have come to expect. If we are doing
this good a job now just think how much better we could be with
staff.
So this is the time I must ask the help of all of you our readers who have used and who
regularly visit our web site and make good use of our free newsletter.
